The light images are based on people’s approach to living. The beam of light is symbolic of the journey they take to reach their goals. Sometimes to move forward you need to move sideways. The light can seem organic, like waves in the sea, representing movement and life whereas the simple line is reminiscent of the beat on a heart monitor, perhaps showing the slowing of life that happens to us all.
